Continuing south, skirting the shores of Lake Ladoga – Europe’s largest freshwater lake, the vistas here are expansive, and the cultural history runs deep. Crossing into Finland, the second part of the stage unfolds amidst the vibrant cities and serene lakes of this Nordic gem.
